MY MAN!

It's the way you talk,
the sexy way you speak, even when you really ain't saying shit...lol

It's the way you make that suit look like a million bucks,
the way you rock it even though we know it ain't no designer.

It's the way you walk, that sexy swagger,
the way you walk into the room like you own the place. It never fails to amaze me.

It's the way you smile, beautiful smile, I must say,
the way you light up the room with that smile of yours.

It's the way you smell,
the way your smell lingers when you leave a room, or how I can smell you on the sheets when you leave.

It's your hands,
the way they make me feel. You do have gifted hands.

It's your eyes,
the way they see right through to my soul without a word ever escaping you beautiful mouth. Oh did I mention your mouth

It's your mouth, you have the most beautiful mouth I've ever seen on a man
the things that mouth can do. Christ! It should be illegal for anyone to be so damn sexy.

It's the way you laugh,
the way you sound like Carameldelite hot chocolate on a winter morning- If it ever had a sound to it.

It's the way you see past my weaknesses
the way you see potential in all my flaws.

It's the way you understand me
the way you put the pieces together even when not all the pieces are there.

It's your beautiful mind
the way you analyze situations. You seem wise beyond your years.

It's the way you analyze my imperfections
the way you turn every imperfection to a talent. How do you do that?

It's the way you love me
Like no one ever has, like no one ever will.

So even when we have our fall outs, I must admit they hurt like hell,
I want you to always know, that at the end of the day, I'll always be your student.
You had me listening at hello.
I love you with every fiber of my being!

My Best friend
My Lover
My Husband
My Baby's daddy
My Protector
My man!

When you get a chance, please show some love to my sistah blogger (Nyja Beauty)KweenBee

Friendship?

Hi Everyone,
Thank you for all your wellwishes with my last post. I don't know anyone of you, but I'm glad I found my way here. I'm so grateful for everyone of you, but I'm even more thankful for my healing. The news of his death rubbed me the wrong way because I was expected to be sad, and that just annoyed me to no end... phew there I go again...lemme stop. Moving on...

I just realised something weird about myself- I'm a hermit! I don't really know how it happened. My parents were very strict growing up. I never had friends visit, and they didn't encourage me visiting any friends either. I rebelled in the past, and if you were to ask those who know me from way back, they are constantly amazed at the woman I've become. I enjoy my own company, never like going out, and if you invited me somewhere, I'd probably give you an excuse for not being able to go. I have met some really great people who have tried to be friends with me, but I somehow discourage them from pursuing the friendship without realising it. I am however trying to turn over a new leaf. I have noticed that my personality leaves me open to a lot of hurt. I see myself through the eyes of those I hold dear, I lean heavily on them, and when they hurt my feelings, I don't know where to turn. This brings me to the topic of the day- How do you meet people?

This sounds really silly, that I'm approaching 30, and do not know how to make friends. Am I weird? Do you just walk up to someone and say 'Hi, my name is Ojuolape. Can we be friends?' Now if that person were me, the response would prolly be 'ermm suuuure' but I'd walk away scratching my head. So tell me blogville, how do you meet people. Those of you who roll to parties 5 to 10 folks deep, how do you manage it? Are all those people acquaintances or friends? How did you meet them, but more importantly, how did you stay friends.

I look forward to your comments.

Letter for my uncle: These brown eyes

These brown eyes lit up when you came to visit
You killed whatever emblem they might hold.

These brown eyes danced to the beat of my heart, and the tune in my head
You killed the music for me.

These brown eyes looked questioningly up at you everytime.
You silenced them everytime with a "Be a good girl, darling. You don't want mommie to know you've been bad."

These brown eyes begged you to stop everytime you commanded 'Open up, honey'
You asked me to close them and 'swallow', you said.

These brown eyes were clear with innocence
You have clouded them with fear

These brown eyes held so much promise
No promises here now, uncle, only pain and regret.

Over the years, these brown eyes watched, waiting for some form of retribution,
well it finally came, in the form of a spinal cord injury.

These brown eyes look down over you amidst a sea of other brown eyes.
Unlike the others, this time they are filled with glee, uncle

You see, these brown eyes hold the secret of your 'tragic accident'
Remember you told me never to tell.

Well, I granted your wish uncle, I never told.
Just like they will never reveal the truth about your accident.

I hope that the AC was uninstalled in the hottest part of hell where you belong.
I hope that your soul damns you with eternal condemnation in that part of hell.
I hope that you lay in the arms of the devil himself in your new home.

As I read your eulogy, what I really want to say is a big "FUCK YOU" for every brown eyes, whose dream you snatched, whose joy you killed, whose music you stopped... but

These brown eyes, these brown eyes...

You can't hussle a Hussler- YES HE DID!

E gba mi o!
I think Susquehanna Bank might think I'm a Scammer! So remember the email I sent to our 'friend and partner'? Well guess what? the fool replied. Please keep in mind that I erroneously left the '(Non-existent and This bank exists)'in the e-mail I sent to Sgt Bary. So I was busy stalking my stalkers on statcounter. Low and behold, why did I see an IP address for Susquehanna Bancshares. I decided to stalk them further, and it turns out that a lot of fraudsters have been using this bank see this link: (You might need to copy and paste this into your browser)http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=susquehanna+bancshares+scam&aq=3&oq=susquehanna+bancsha.

Errmmm Susquehanna Bank peoples, please if you are reading this, I was just messing with the scammer o, don't come and arrest me o. Now that I think about it, maybe we can catch the thief together, what do you say? I can bait Sgt Bary until we find him....

So, my peepu, here's what Sgt Bary replied me with.

Hello Friend and Partner,

Thank you for your response. There is no risk whatsoever,as regards this money, this money was discovered by my commander in 2003 and has been hidden all this while until now. Our tour of duty will be ending soon so it is important that we get the money moved out of iraq. But the most important thing is that I do not want this money to go through the bank around here, It will not be safe for us, I have a very good, trusted and reliable bulk vault delivery contact used mostly by our forces in Jordan, that can send goods easily as military/army logistics,to anywhere in the world, without them being checked at any port of entry. I know you may be sceptical about doing this but we have served our country well and a lot of our colleagues have died out here and the people at the top have done nothing about this. The total sum amount's to $25m and I hope that you can handle it??They can deliver this money to your address. The baggage will be tagged claissified army documents, and the delivery company, will not be aware of the content of the package. A few friends have used this means to convey goods, without being checked because of the diplomatic immunity they enjoy. I have been able to establish contact with an agent of the company and he has agreed to assist us in moving the package for a price, his charges are very high, but I will negotiate a way out from this end. He has demanded that we pay him $20,000.00USD as cost of delivering the package to you. I will send the balance which is $24,980,000.00USD to you, because I can not take any chances by keeping cash on me. Your percentage still stands as agreed.

I will issue instructions on how you are to handle our share of the money when it gets to your base. to proceed please send the following information that will be needed by the safe deposit company to send the package to you:
1.Your name
2.your address for delivery
3.Your Direct Phone number, so you can be contacted by the company.
4.What do you do for a living? Are you married with kids?
5. Can you handle these funds?
6.I will also want to an id of you so I know who I am dealing with ok.
7. We are talking about a lot of money here, if we are to proceed with this deal, then you must agree to follow my every instruction to the letter. It is only me and my partners that know about the package.

You know that the security is very important, you can not trust anybody therefore note that this transaction is not safe on the phone, because of our jobs as soldiers, our privacy is of paramount in importance. I cannot call you on the phone or receive fax. I will be attaching a picture of me while on patrol in iraq and i will be attaching a picture of the bunker palace of the late saddam hussein the day we took over the palace, kindly keep this picture away from all third parties because it is a classified military document. I am also attaching this link for further evidence of funds origin:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/middle_east/2988455.stm

I hope you are ok with this? Everything must be done by email. I need your urgent reply in this regard as it is no longer safe to have the money here.
Sgt. Brandon Gary

The fool even sent me a link to some static bbc site. He said a picture of him would be there, well, he conveniently forgot to add his picture... oleshious fellow!

I think I'll stop baiting Sgt Gary for now, unless of cos The real bank contacts me. Who knows, I might become famous...lol

toodles!

You can't hussle a hussler

So, lately I've been getting a lot of these emails informing me that I am about to receive some amount of money, and asking for my information. Take for instance the e-mail below:

(This email was titled 'Immediate response', just so you know)

Hello friend,

I hope my email meets you well. I am in need of your assistance. My name is Sgt Brandon Gary. I am in the Engineering military unit here in Ba'qubah in Iraq,we have some amount of funds that we want to move out of the country. My partners and I need a good partner someone we can trust. It is oil money and legal.Basically since we are working for the government we cannot keep these funds, but we want to transfer and move the funds to you, so that you can keep it for us in your safe account or an offshore account But we are moving it through Diplomatic means, to send it to your house directly or a bank of your choice using Diplomatic Courier Service. The most important thing is that can we trust you? Once the funds get to you, you take your 30% out and keep our own 70%.Your own part of this deal is to find a safe place where the funds can be sent to. Our own part is sending it to you.If you are interested I will furnish you with more details. But the whole process is simple and we must keep a low profile at all times.

Waiting for your urgent response via my private email: sgtbgary4@yahoo.com.hk This business is risk free. Regards,Sgt Brandon Gary.

For the heck of it, I decided to respond to him. Here was my response to Sgt Gary:

Hi Sgt Gary,
Thank you for your offer. Of course I can be trusted. I wouldn't want to loose your trust in this new business relationship. I would definitely be interested in helping you secure the funds. I particularly look forward to receiving my 30% as the economy is currently in the tank. Here is my account number at the Susquehanna bank(This bank exists). My account number is 10101373746(non existent). My bank would however like to know the following information:

1. Your full legal name
2. Your date of Birth
3. Social Security Number
4. Bank routing number
5. Account number
6. A US address.

Thank you so much. I eagerly await your response. I am in dire need of these funds as we are in a recession.

Yours Sincerely,
Ojuolape Ajayi

Oloshi, You don see maga abi? If e don hammer, make e give im fomilik fest nau, how come you just pick random people to dash money like that. I'm sure fear will catch him small once he sees I'm Nigerian. We will see if the idiot responds. I will keep you guys updated ;-)

Against all odds

I contemplated not saying anything about this amazing feat. But how could I? Last night, I watched as America spoke. I watched the faces of the people at grant park. It was unbelievable! White, black, Hispanics, Asian, Mideastern, African (Yes, I saw a woman with headgear on), and everything in between, came together to celebrate. The other races screaming 'YES WE CAN' just as loudly as the blacks. I felt pride at that moment.

President-Elect (Boy, that sounds good!) Barrack Obama gave his wonderful speech. Again I felt pride. (I couldn't help watching for any funny movements, for any psycho tryna climb on stage or some other psycho *ish- but no, just pure unadulterated glee) I can't recall another time in American History when people of all nations and creed came together like this.

This morning, as I sit in this office chair, for some reason, I break down in inconsolable tears. I watch recaps of moments when Obama spoke of his wife, the genuine way with which he spoke her name, the humility with which he addressed me, and I couldn't hold back the water works. I will tell my daughter about 11.04.08 at approximately 10:49:36, when a man, the son of an immigrant, raised by a single mother/Grandma, of black descent, with a strange name 'BARRACK HUSSEIN OBAMA', took away the red tape. He rendered that glass ceiling nonexistent. All with the Audacity of Hope. Yes you can! Daughter, that man took you half way... YES YOU CAN!

MAINTENANCE MAN- Eureka!

*LONG POST ALERT* Blame it on Temite...

ah! corporate ke? I broke out in cold sweat, my palm started to get sweaty. I wanted to pee and poo at the same time. This has not happened to me since Jamb days men. The tin do me like serious exam fever. The corporate building itself seemed to mock me as i looked at it from the highway. My overactive imagination was f**king with my mind seriously. It looked like the building was sticking its tongue out at me, and all the other motorist were shaking their head at me in pity and disappointment. Okay snap out of it OJ. You have done nothing wrong. Your innocence should vindicate you. Once again images of those FBI torture scenes crept into my mind. You know the kinds where they torture you into confessing things that are beyond your wildest imagination just for the pain to stop. Kai! Which kain wahala be dis nau?

I entered the building, and as I entered the elevator en route to the 13th floor, I prayed out loud. While praying, a conversation with a friend of mine asking me to come to church, and me responding that I'll come on Sunday(The Sunday that never came). She had said that I did not want to be one of those people who 'cling to their religion' when they have problems, or sleep in church when they need something from God. I prayed to God for forgiveness, promising him to become a church worker if he would save me from myself. I'm sure the man upstairs must have found my prayer amusing, as did the young Middle Eastern chic that stepped into the elevator without my knowledge during my 'skabashing'. If I wasn't scared shitless, I might have laughed out load at myself. Again, my more sane side rationalized that all I had to do was tell the truth, so why was I freaking myself out?

"Ms oj.. oj...ew... I'm sorry, i didn't mean to butcher your name. I'm Sarah Whitfield, LP Manager"

"Hi, that's alright, you can call me OJ, everyone else does"

"Thank you. That sounded so easy. I wouldn't mind that at all. This way please, we'll make this short, I promise" She said.

If the set up of her office was supposed to alleviate some of my worry, it did the extreme opposite. Her office was bland and cold. t must have been at least 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Nothing homely about it. Her walls were grey. It reminded me of prison walls, the kind I was gonna get thrown into, if they found anything shady about my 'story'. Okay OJ, remember, no negative thoughts... whoooosaaaa!

"Bob told me he was at your branch on Friday. He also told me that you mentioned not knowing the individual conducting the transaction. For your 'convenience', we have enhanced the image, and I apologize for the inconvenience" She said, with a tight smile. Her smile did nothing for my screwy mind.

"No problem at all, I wouldn't mind taking another look to see if anything jumps out at me" I said
"If you wouldn't mind, thank you very much" She says, hitting the remote simultaneously.

We watch the tape, and still nothing. She shows me another one, this time, it's a woman conducting the transaction. This one confused me even more. I felt like I was watching a bad movie. I tried to look at the perpetrators closely, to determine anything even remotely Naija about them. Don't ask me why I immediately thought Naija. I'm ashamed of it, but what was I to think. There was no sound, so I had to watch for any naija swagger. I looked through the files in my head and came up with nothing. Nothing.

" OJ, I hate to tell you this, but this started last month, and we hired a private investigator, who's been watching your every move. We found that you do know this individual, in fact, you have been over at his house at 20802 Overly Ct. Greenbelt...."

Yep! You guessed it.... Mutherfucking Olanrewaju McDaniels. I was gonna kill that sunnuvabitch...

I told Sarah, that I did infact know the 'individual' (funny I called him that, seeing as we were way past individual). We were VERY intimate. I also said, that i'd cooperate in efforts to capture the bastard and bring him and his female 'associate' to justice. In the meantime, Sarah informed me that I was being put on indefinite administrative leave, pending the investigation. Great! As per naija chic, I had to think fast. There were a number of things going through my head

1. Do I tell Jason (My Whitie BF) the truth about my getting fired? Leaving out the fact that a fraudster has been double dipping in his cookie jar? He had to know some truth seeing as Provident's idea of Admin leave actually meant Leave Without Pay

2. If I needed a character witness, who the heck was I gonna call given my next plan of action? Kike had gotten religion (Born again)I really didn't want to lie to her. She knew me too well. Come to think of it, this was her fault. If she hadn't moved up north, I would have had someone to occupy my time, not that I still wouldn't have done some undercover runs. He was the HOD of the Pipe-laying department.. you can take that to the bank;-) You know, that guy that has you swearing in seven different languages, and thanking Sweet Baby jeezus all in the same sentence. He was that good.

3. Where do I get a ski mask and a murder weapon?

I left Sarah's office, numb, and grateful to God that I wasn't a jailbird. I didn't tell anyone about this stuff. I'm just secretive like that. I don't like people all up im my bizness. I had however left a note, for my BF in my pillow case, in the event that I got arrested (I'm full of Drama, I know, but what can I say? I got it from my mama- see Dreams fall apart). I was so full of rage at this bastard. I got home, changed my shoes, and headed back out. Like I said, I just knew I was gonna kill that nucca...

I arrive at his crib on Overly street, mad as hell, I went to work on the 'love of his life'. The alarm went off but I was not hearing it. All I heard was a loud hissing noise. The kind that you hear when water hits a pan of hot oil. My insides were on fire, my shoulders wracked with sobs, but my tears, mixed with the heavy rain, did not console me. It just served to anger me some more. I cry easily, and I really hate myself for it. I put garden shears into his tires. I went to work on his sun roof, smashing it in. I found a nice jagged stone, and imprinted '419' on all sides of his infinity. I wrote 'You are going down' on his trunk. I really wanted to smash in all his windows, but I wanted him to sit in his soaking wet seats without warning. Just as I was about getting into my car, headed home, his front door opened, leaving me to watch in horror as Laura was trying to stick her tongue down Lanre's throat. I reconsidered my element of surprise. I picked up Jason's Alpha Phi Alpha baton and proceeded to bust his windows.

I was so blinded by rage, when Laura approached me, screaming 'Oh my God, somebody call the popo, the bitch's gone crazy' I swung the baton at her face, and just kept going. Lanre was busy dialing 911, while simultaneously holding me back. The damage was already done. I swung at him wildly, hearing the approaching sirens somewhere in the distance.

Not until I found myself in 'Rolex', sitting in the owner's corner of the PG County police cruiser, did it hit me. I was gonna be taking a 'passport photo' at the police precinct just because of a few nights of fun. It really wasn't worth going to jail for. Laura lay unconscious, bleeding from her head, dark red liquid seeped out, hitting the tar and giving it a more sinister hue of red, I couldn't help but wish it were this sunnofabitch laying there. At least, I'd have some street credibility with my new colleagues at the 'pent house'.

THE END!

* I really needed to finish this story anyways. Some other things have been on my mind, and I've been unable to write them.

MAINTENANCE MAN- The tale of the mystery customer

"Ms Aja-ee, I'd like to have a word with you, as soon as you are done with Mr. Canton" says Keith, the bank manager.

"Sure, I'll be there shortly" I said.

I walk in to find, Keith looking grave and at least 15 years older. Wetin do dis one again now? Mscheeew. When my eyes settled on the extra person in the room, I thought, ahhhh dem don catch tif today. Ope o! I had always been looking for some drama so that I can have gist. I know that Michelle girl is a thief. Her face too strong…lol I was feverish with excitement. I had heard other AMs (Assistant Managers) say that whenever Robert Townsend from Loss Prevention shows up at your branch, it means shit's about to hit the fan.

"Ms Aja-ee, we'd like to show you a video, and get your take on it." Robert said.

"Sure Bob, whenever you are ready." I said

Bob rolls over (He rolls cos he is so huge. It looked like he was literally dragging an 18 wheeler. He looked like he was in pain, but I digress) to the 14inch CCTV in Keith's office. In the video, some guy with a NY Giants face cap is conducting a transaction, and soon leaves the branch. In my mind, I'm thinking okaaayyyyy when then? mscheeewww! Why are these fools showing this rubbish video? I thought I was gonna find Michelle pocketing some loose dollars or maybe somebody getting freaky in the office, but a common customer? common customer? I gave another ear splitting hiss in my head, when Bob, reaches to rewind the tape again. I couldn't help my impatience. All the while, I felt Keith's beady eyes boring holes into my forehead. I'm thinking, I thought your ass was gay, why the hell you staring so hard? You know something I don't? Ode!

'Ms Ajaee... (If this fool don't stop calling me Aja-e- sounding like the English for this dog, I'm gonna show him I'm a female dog, and re-arrange his already fucked up dentition with my koin koin shoe) we need you to watch this video for any happenings that might catch your attention" Bob says

"I'm watching, bob. I don't see anything amiss in the video. Are you really gonna play it again? I ask.

'Yes'. He said, simply.

This time, I couldn't help sighing out loud. I look at my watch, and then the customer queue outside. These crazy dudes are gonna abandon me at 5.30pm, and then leave me to close the branch all by myself. I had to see Lanre tonight, but I had to go home and freshen up first. At this rate, they were going to let my whitie BF get home before me, and then look all surly when I told him I was gonna hang with my friends this weekend. I just hate when I make him sad. He's a good guy and all, but I needed to get laid properly at least once a week to release some pent up frustration plus it was getting cold. Don't these fools get it?...
Keith asks, "OJ, are you sure you are paying attenttion to the screen"? You seem a little distracted"

'I am. I already told you, there's nothing amiss in the video. What else do you need from me?' I snapped

Bob clears his throat. 'Ms. Aja-ee, we'd like you to come with us to corporate for questioning'
ah mo gbe. They sure got my attention with that. He continues "We have reason to believe that you might be involved in some fraudulent activities. There are checks that are being cashed all over the DMV, even as far as Delaware with your signature on it"

I'm thinking, OK, I may have written some checks, but they sure weren't 'bad' checks. If the individual wanted to cash it in Delaware, is there a law against that?

"Why would the checks I've written be considered as fraudulent?" I ask. Bob is loosing his patience.

"These checks come up to about 26,000 dollars, and if you are not responsible, we need to figure out who is". This crazy bastard is about to ruin my weekend sha.

Little did I know.
